Maybe it's my old bones, but even in the luxurious seats in my Volvo (my previous car) I didn't like driving for 5 or 6 hours at a stretch. I'm planning to drive 800 miles one way this summer (and back again), but I've mapped it out on A Better Route Planner and honestly, I'm looking forward to having a reason to stop every three hours.
99% of my driving is in town or short trips of under 50 miles, so range isn't an issue, especially since I own a charger so every day I start off with a 'full tank'. For the way I drive, this is the perfect car for me, and 4 months in it still makes me happy every time I drive it.
